ChewLeKitten

ChewLeKitten is the username of Chew's Minecraft: Java account. It was originally named Chewsterchew2001 and was created in June of 2013.

Name History

Chew's username started with Chewsterchew2001. Name changing was not possible in Minecraft until February 2015, so this name remained until February 4th, 2015 where the name was changed to ChewCraft, which was inspired by her Minecraft server at the time.

After 31 days, the name was then changed to ChewTDM. Chew has claimed this stood for "Team Deathmatch," a game-mode on the then popular Mineplex, but in reality it was more likely due to DanTDM's popularity at the time.

After 55 days, the name was changed back to Chewsterchew2001. It is currently unknown why this happened, but it was likely due to incompatibility on old servers she played on.

After 72 days, the name changed to _Chew_. This is one of the names she is more remembered for, inspiring friends to change their name, such as __Mean__. It is unknown why the name was changed to this specifically, but likely because Chew was taken.

After nearly a year, the name was changed again to the now iconic ChewLeKitten. It remained this name for over a year and a third until it was changed to Forastha, which was a name randomly generated by a bot on the then active ChewChat IRC network. After 35 days, it was changed back to ChewLeKitten, where it remains today.
